I didn’t really get it

I am quite possibly the most honestly verbal person you will ever meet. If I don’t get it, I’ll ask tons of questions until whatever it makes sense. Walking meditation was that for me. My teachers, Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, explained it in the modules of my class — but reading the words and even doing the walking — it left me knowing that I wasn’t doing it right.

I even created a meditation during that time. It is fun to listen to now because as we practice mindfulness and meditation we can see/hear our progress. I’ve made some strides in being a better walking meditator. (No pun intended.)

NOW, I’ve got it!

In a Covid-19 stroke of luck I was able to attend an online course given by IMS, Insight Meditation Society. Sharon Salzberg and Oren Jay Sofer are the epitome of Metta: Lovingkindness in the meditation world. I learned so much in those 5 days! I highly recommend seeking them…
