Sap Moon

the March Full Moon invites us to flow

The moon tonight 3/7/23.

It’s March.

It’s warm, it’s cold, it’s snowing, it’s raining, and there are muddy dog prints across my kitchen floor.

This warmth brings the trees to life. Then, the sap waits for the thaw and begins to flow.

Waiting to flow.

First thaw, then flow.

The sap is the sweetness that lives within the tree. The tree doesn’t go looking for sweetness — it recognizes the sweetness that already exists.

If Barbara Walters knew this, I’m sure she would want to be a Maple tree.

Sap Moon Mantra

Mantras that support us and instill sweetness and self-care. A recognition that we are loving, sweet, and kind if we make the intention to look inside for these characteristics.

From the book, Living by the Moon, here are two mantras:

First, my favorite relationship is the one that I have with myself, and I prioritize my needs.

I love myself unconditionally and treat myself with care.
