My take on women in their 40’s: it’s definitely a time of physical/hormonal stuff starting that also fucks with your mind. A double whammy and yes, it does make you feel crazy. Like the wheels coming off the wagon.

Layer on a divorce, or not married, or unhappily married, then the kids/no kids.

It’s a time of personal evaluation. And fear of the unknown.

I’m very excited to be in my 50’s, I’ve never felt more liberated.
