This is us!

The happy couple finally getting married.

This is my favorite part of any reception, THE POLKA!!

My step-dad, Jim, was a fantastic dancer and on my wedding day he swayed, spun, and cha cha’d in perfect form. He always brought a smile to my face.

Jim and I were dancing the Polka!

And this snapshot was taken. . . prophetic.

I have no idea what was happening — but I love the spark.

My wedding was not the fairy tale event that I had been planning since I was a little girl. The venue was a hotel, and the officiate was a wonderful friend of my brothers from high school, my gown was off the clearance rack, I made my veil, the food was not great/horrible.

The flowers were amazing! My cake was beautiful and tasted like no other I have ever had.
